Position Title: Flagger

Position Summary
EE Traffic Management is seeking reliable, safety-focused Flaggers to join our growing team. This position is responsible for controlling traffic through and around construction and maintenance work zones to protect workers, motorists, and the public. Candidates must be dependable, professional, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, communicate well, and take pride in maintaining safe and efficient traffic control operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Flagger Certification/Card
- 1–2 years of flagging or traffic control experience
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry traffic control equipment as needed
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime when needed
Responsibilities
- Direct and control vehicle traffic using approved flagging procedures
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices and signage
- Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and the public
- Follow all company safety policies and Washington State traffic control regulations
- Monitor work zones for safety hazards and report concerns immediately
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude on job sites
- Assist with general traffic control labor duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on public works or roadway construction projects
- Experience reading Traffic Control Plans (TCPs)
- Experience reading project plans and specifications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to safely work near moving traffic and heavy equipment
